Each year over 700,000 people join the fight against cancer by taking part in an event and fundraising in aid of Cancer Research UK, they can’t cross the finish line without the passion and energy of an amazing team of volunteers, like you!
Be a part of something special. Sign up to volunteer at Bradford Race for Life and together we will beat cancer. Race for Life is one of our biggest series of fundraising events, which has raised over £500 million since it first began. Come and be a part our Race family! We’re looking for flexible, enthusiastic volunteers to support the event. Helping us set up and support our racers around the course, or handing out medals at the finish line, we’ll find the right activity for you:
- Event Day Volunteer – Setting up and packing down the event (this may include helping to set up the course and marshal stations, putting up marquees, getting water to the finish line and cleaning up after the event has finished).
- Course Marshal & Obstacle Marshal – You could be located at one of our Course Marshal points, cheering and encouraging our participants and helping them to navigate their way around the course. When you volunteer at a Race for Life event, you make a difference. Get outside, have fun, meet fantastic people, build your confidence, and help beat cancer. You will be briefed by one of our event team staff when you arrive so that you know exactly what you’ll be doing. You’ll then be supported and guided by them throughout the event. We’ll also provide light refreshments and a great atmosphere which you’ll be sure to love!
