The much-anticipated Bradford Dragonboat Festival is back and making waves once again. This year promises to be more spectacular than ever as Roberts Park in Saltaire transforms into a hub of adrenaline-fuelled action, community spirit, and family fun.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, this year’s festival promises to be extra special as the UK’s largest festival of its kind marks an amazing milestone.

• Saturday’s event, known as The Lord Mayor’s Championship, will see up to 45 teams from across the region and beyond battling it out on the water for glory.
• Sunday’s event, this Multi-Charity Event takes place with up to 45 teams battling it out to become “Champions of the Water”! Teams will be racing to raise money for the charity of their choice.

In addition to the Dragon Boat Races, there will be international food vendors each serving a diverse range of wonderful foods, traders, bars supplying thirst-quenching drinks, exhibitors, children’s rides, and a whole host of entertainment.

To celebrate the 10^th anniversary of this event coming to Saltaire, and as part of Armed Forces Week activities, members of the Army’s Yorkshire Regiments and members of the RAF will be in attendance across both days and will have a display on-site.  As a very special treat, we hope to have an RAF flyover (weather conditions dependent)
