It’s International Dawn Chorus Day. For the first time, Cliffe Castle is recording the Dawn Chorus as it happens on the grounds of Cliffe Castle and broadcasting it as part of the Reveille live stream of the International Dawn Chorus.
It’s about connecting with nature, and we hope people who want to be part of the experience will make their own creative response to the event, whether it’s knitting, doodling, writing poetry, Tai Chi, or whatever helps to connect to nature.
We will meet at 4.30 am in the car park, and we will make our way to the picnic area to settle down, look over the valley, watch the sunrise, and listen to the bird’s dawn chorus. To enjoy the experience, you need to wear warm clothes, bring a torch, and something to sit on.
