Apple Day is officially celebrated on 21st October, but here in Bradford the celebrations will be taking place throughout the month!
We are delighted to share that Bradford District Parks and Green spaces will be hosting special Apple day events across the district.

Bowling Park Orchard Allotment – 25th Anniversary Celebration Saturday 12th October, 12 – 4pm
- Stalls
- Children’s craft activities
- Homemade cakes, savouries and drinks
- Live music
Shipley Fields Apple Day – Sunday 19th October, 12 – 3pm
- Fruit pressing demonstrations
- Juice making
- Buy your own potted fruit tree
- Taste different varieties of apples
These events are a great opportunity to enjoy the season, celebrate local orchards, and bring the community together.

The Fruitful Bradford community network helps ensure no good fruit goes to waste. They:

- Lend out juicing equipment to local groups and individuals
