Free Event – Come along on Friday 29th August and learn all about the bats who live and forage at The Prince of Wales Park. Meet with us at the entrance at 8.15pm and we will head into the park towards the arena
Hear the bats having a chat on the bat walk with our expert Robert Bell. He will help us detect the bats and describe the life and habits of these nocturnal creatures.
Bats come out to feed when its dark so that is the best time to see them so that’s when the walk will begin.
It’s a Friday night so why not bring your children along for a great exciting experience they can sleep in on Saturday!
It will be dark you might need a torch, wear sturdy shoes and warm clothes – it gets cold when the sun goes in! AND if you have a bat detector bring it along too.
Its GREAT to connect to nature and I am sure we will also see and hear other wildlife too.
