Another successful tree planting event at St Ives, Bingley!

Building on the success of our tree planting event in December of last year, we are delighted to share the news of another milestone – the successful completion of a second tree planting session at St Ives, Bingley, this weekend.

On Saturday, 17th February, a dedicated group of over 20 volunteers planted more than 300 saplings in the area adjacent to Lady Blantyre’s Rock.

We thank each volunteer who participated in this initiative, proving that the spirit of community and environmental stewardship continues to thrive in St Ives, Bingley. Together, we are creating a greener, healthier future for St Ives.

Organised by the Trees and Woodlands Team at Bradford Council, the initiative forms part of the broader objective to reintroduce native trees to designated areas within a ten-year timeframe.
