Why Don’t You ??? Create a Nature Board.

Looking for activities for children that are inexpensive and will keep them occupied for a hour or so? Then why not create a nature board.

This will involve you going for a walk around your local park or woodland and collecting items such as leaves, twigs, fallen pine cones etc. (please do not remove wildflower) Always wash your hands after handling foliage and greenery.

When you return home find a large piece of card or even an empty cereal box to create your nature board.  On this card sketch an animal, an insect, tree or flower what ever you can imagine and then cut out the shape.  Once you have cut out your shapes on the back of the card get some sellotape and cover the the shapes you have cut so the hollow is sticky.  Then on the front attach your leaves and twigs.  You can paint, colour, add glitter to your board to make it even more beautiful.

We would love you to send in a photograph of your board.  These will feature on our website and social media.
