Coming Soon…. Bee Friendly Roundabout

The recently completed road improvements at Hard Ings are finally finished and it

Has led to an opportunity to work with the Council, the contractor and local

Airedale Bee Keepers to design the landscaping of the roundabout in a way which will

promote bio diversity by providing bee friendly planting.

Our long time sponsors of this roundabout, local business Keybury Fire & Security,

are delighted to sponsor the roundabout as the project is further developed in Spring of 2021.

Keybury have always supported and promoted initiatives to improve the environment,

having been highly commended at the 2015 Keighley Business Award for

excellence in corporate social and environmental responsibility,

achieving plastic free business champion status and last year reaching the final of

the national Security and Fire Excellence Awards for their CSR project on sustainability.

Keybury’s Technical & Sales Director, Patrick Beebe, said

“We’re very happy to ‘bee’ involved in this worthwhile project and

look forward to seeing the roundabout buzzing with flowers and wildlife next summer.”

So until then it may look a bit untidy but it will be worth the wait.
