Being able to step out of your front door and see plants and trees or ‘green space’ has many benefits to mental and physical health, especially for people living in urban areas. A new programme aims to bring this natural mood booster to people across the district this spring.

The Ginnel Garden Guidebook provides hints and tips about what to grow and free workshops will explain how to turn your neighbourhood into a place where people and nature thrive. For people in Keighley Central, Keighley West, Bowling & Barkerend, Tong, Bradford Moor Ward, City, Bolton and Undercliffe, Eccleshill, Great Horton, Heaton and Manningham there will also be hands on support in their neighbourhoods from Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, Street Space, get Our More and Better Place.
