The Friends of Bradford Moor Park was formed by volunteers keen to work alongside Bradford Council to improve the standards of maintenance as well as revamping and improving park facilities. Bradford Moor Park is an important park in the areas. During the COVID-19 pandemic the importance of the park to the local community was heightened as many local homes are overcrowded and without gardens where they can meet with family and friends relied heavily on the park.
The group has over 400 members on Facebook and is growing fast – new members always welcome..
The group aims to run regular clean up and maintenance activities the park for volunteers throughout summer and winter.
