A ZIP wire, timber climbing stack, group swing and trampoline are among the new equipment installed in a Bradford park's play area.

Knowles Park in Tong Street, Bradford, has also been given a new teen shelter, while the 'trim trail' exercise circuit has been extended.

Phil Barker, Bradford Council's assistant director of sport and culture, said: "This improvement work has provided much better facilities for all the youngsters in the area.

The new play equipment is designed to suit all youngsters, from toddlers to teenagers.

Pupils were asked what type of equipment they preferred and then got a chance to vote for their favourite design when plans were drawn up.
