Fri, 19 Aug 2011

To celebrate the historic connectiions with the family of Theodore Roosevelt, there has been a special visit to Cliffe Castle Park recently. Roosevelt Bear came along to look up his relatives and have his picture taken around the park

Members of Keighley Art Group have also designed colouring pictures for children celebrating some of the animals and flowers visitors can see in the park.

Roosevelt and the picures will be on the Cliffe Castle Parks Conservation Group's stall in the Airedale Shopping Centre from 10 am to 2 pm on Active Citizens' Day.

Members of the group will be there to answer questions about developments in the park and collect views on what events and facilities local people would like to see in this great park.
