Eccleshill Play Area Consultation

Wed, 13 Jul 2011

Bradford Council has been working with residents on Eccleshill Village Steering Group to develop a number of options for a play area in Eccleshill village.

Funding has already been allocated for the play area in Eccleshill, and we are now keen to seek the views of residents who live around the two proposed sites, as well as the potential users, through local schools.

There are three options to consider:

Option A – Eccleshill Recreation Ground
Fenced play area designed for toddlers, younger children and juniors aged up to 14 years

Option B – The Delph
Fenced play area designed for toddlers, younger children and juniors aged up to 14 years

Option C – Eccleshill Recreation Ground and The Delph
Two unfenced play areas.

Eccleshill Recreation play area designed mainly for toddlers and young children, with less equipment for juniors. (Click to see location map)

The Delph play area designed mainly for juniors – aged 5-14, with less equipment for toddlers and young children. (Click to see location map)

Detailed designs of all three options are available to view here:

They are also now on display at Eccleshill Mechanics Institute, Stone Hall Road, Eccleshill until Friday July 29.
