Events Booking Procedure

If you would like to hold an event on land owned by Parks and Landscape Service please follow the booking procedure below:

1. Planning your event
Before planning your event please read carefully the attached terms and conditions. A signature declaring compliance with these terms and conditions will be required as part of the booking procedure.

2. Where will your event be held?
See map below to establish contact details for the person to deal with your event booking.

3. Tell us about your event
Contact the relevant office to inform us of your event and to check the following:

  • Is the site available on the day you want to hold your event?
  • How much will it cost you to hire the site?
  • Will a bond (down payment) be necessary?
  • Are there any special conditions related to hiring the site.
  • Do I need a licence to hold my event?

4. Booking form

Follow the link below and complete the booking form ensuring you have completed all sections correctly.  http://www.bradforddistrictparks.org/pdfs/EventsBookingForm-General.doc   Return by post or email to the relevant manager listed above. 


5. Who else needs to know about your event?

Details of your event need to be submitted to The Public Safety Liaison Group (PSLG) at the same time you submit your booking form. The PSLG is a Bradford Council led Group consisting of core Council sections together with representatives of the Emergency Services with interests in legislation dealing with public safety.     PSLG Guidance Notes (Word Document 47 kb)

You must notify the Public Safety Liaison Group of your event by completing the online form  


6. Grant of permission
You must obtain grant of permission to proceed with your event from the manager of the relevant office. This will usually be a returned copy of your booking form with a signed declaration on behalf of Bradford Council. You must also notify the manager of the relevant office immediately if you receive a query from a member of the PSLG which may affect your event from going ahead.
